About Me

   I began working at Sandia National Laboratories after completing a Ph.D. in Optical Engineering at Clemson University. Since then, my work has produced , I began working at Sandia National Laboratories. Since then, my work has resulted in 10+ publications, and one pending patent, and two awards including 2019's R&D 100.


   In pursuit of these publications, I have become familiar with a number of research topics, including: 

  • Hyperspectral target detection
  • Image analysis 
  • Scene prediction
  • Detonation and plume modeling
  • Plenoptic, infrared, and organic detectors
  • Micro-photonics
  • Laser physics


   I like to work hard, and I like to play hard. I am a private pilot, have open water SCUBA certification, and an avid hiker.
