I began working at Sandia National Laboratories in 2015, after completing a Ph.D. in Optical Engineering at Clemson University. Since then, my work has resulted in 30+ publications, over 150 citations, one pending patent, and two awards including 2019's R&D 100.
In pursuit of these publications, I have become familiar with a variety of research topics including laser physics, micro-photonics, scene prediction, hyperspectral image analysis, subspace tracking, optical modeling of background distortions, and detectors (plenoptic, infrared, and organic.
I like to work hard, and I like to play hard. I am a certificated private pilot, open water SCUBA diver, hiker, backpacker, and woodworker.
